It's a pity you did not get the TV coverage you deserved at the London Lord Mayor's Parade.
I have in the past slated your band for drummers burying their faces in the music. I think I have praised you for your turn out in Gibraltar. I have now just come across your trip to Limerick, complete with new uniforms with high collar, absolutely superb. Keep the youtubes coming.
Have watched, yet again, yes, yet again your super turnout in Gibraltar. The narrow streets are brilliant for the part music flute band. Drummers keep up the good work.
Immaculately turned out in Limerick yesterday and sounding great. Thanks for making the trip down to us and creating a very enjoyable day. Always one of the best days in the city since I was a kid (a while ago now!)
Many sincere congratulations to Kellswater FB for your fine achievement at winning the Championship Flute Section. Your bass end was particularly good, especially your young solo alto player. Where do you get such talent?

Congratulations on the bands recent success at the SAFBA contest in Troon. You really do have a drum corps to be proud of.
Best Wishes from all at Carluke Primrose.

Thanks everyone for a great trip to Gibraltar. We were made feel very welcome and really enjoyed meeting everyone and making lasting friendships. Due to the amount of singing (on the bus, in the taxi, outside the Retreat Centre, anywhere infact), I think I can sing Killaloe better than I can play it!! It was good to see the band so well received and there were certainly a few spine tingling moments when walking into and around Casemates Square with the drummers in full flow and the cheers going up from the crowd. I am grateful for the opportunity to go to Gibraltar and play with Kellswater and look forward to seeing you all again in October.
Website looking great guys, some nice photo's as well. Congratulations on the win hope to see you on the march soon.
Congratulations from Ballywillan. Good job we dropped back to grade 3. ha ha! Well deserved and well done.
was Alistair fluting or druming?
Best wishes to all
I was delighted to read in The Times about the bandís many prizes won recently in Scotland . I remember well when I was only a wee boy, we entered our first contest in Portadown, although we were only up against one other band, we won, so I'm sure you can imagine how the people of Kellswater felt and how proud we were.
I left the band about 1952 and after 25 years in the RAF I came to live in Australia in 1981. I often look at the photos and read the history and updates on the bandís progress.
Bill (Willis) Gillen - ex Eb player in a great band
Hello to you all from Canada
Just received by post your 2 CDs and your DVD of your championship performance in Troon!!!!!!!! You guys are amazing and very talented too--I also loved the dancers!!!!!!!!!!!! I play with the Haliburton Highlands Silver Flutes Band here in Canada............and we play a lot of the same music...in parts too.........we are one of two bands in all of canada that play parts flute music.........Keep up the good work
Saw your band in Scarva and you were
absolutely superb - each time I see the band on parade you seem to get better &
better. If you would be interested our band(Drumaheagles Young Defenders FB), is
holding our annual competition parade in Ballymoney on Sat 19th August 2006 and
it would be great to see your band on parade - parade moves off at 8.30 pm from
Townhead St Car Park.
Congratulations on your success in Scotland, the band has certainly come a long way, the band is more impressive on the road since the drummers dumped the music.
